Hailing from deep within the Othard Mountains, Miahka comes from a rather Unknown tribe of Xaela that lived a relatively peaceful life. Up in the mountains, where the stone meets the sky, they called home. They would praise the Moon and the Sun, Dusk Mother and Dawn Father. The ideals of Fate drive them. The stars tell their futures. Their ceremonies are sacred and their duties clear. She was raised here with purpose, she was trained and taught for her part in the Tribe… but not everyone likes the path they are placed upon, and sometimes, they wish to forge their own.War would soon consume the Tribe, like a plague. Strife weaned its way into their lives, and their core beliefs would soon fall to ruin. Miahka wanted no part in this fate, so she would make her own. The stars said one thing, but she wished for another. A different life - though, some nights, she does miss it.So she got as far away from her Tribe as she could. Eorzea called her, and a new land would unveil a new path for the woman. Ishgard, the furthest point she could go, would be her new home.

She would work, until she could afford her own shop. Small, overgrown with flowers and fauna, she made her new home. Word spreads, and from commoners to nobles people would soon venture to her shop for potions and wears. Her mystery drew people in, and her smile made them stay to buy. It took time, it took work, but she would soon have a large clientele of Noble folk who needed remedies for ailments they weren't always too happy to be vocal about, and she would find them. A fair price, for their secrets.Miahka's specialty became subterfuge - gaining power and rank through the secrets she housed in her little shop. She would rise through the circles of nobility while they stare with bitter contempt, that an outsider - a savage, no less, became one of them. A life of luxury is what she wished - for herself, and only her. However she got that mattered little, there was no moral compass to drive her actions.

Small, dainty. Somewhere between lithe and lean - soft undertones of muscles hidden under moon-touched skin. Long brown hair that shines and sways with the wind, well kept. A slightly rounded face, but with pointed features. Crystal eyes, sharp and focused, so easily bore into the soul.Nary a blemish upon her skin it almost looks like an illusion. No scars, no moles or marks. A blank slate. It's soft, it's cared for - but it's poised all the same. Scales line her frame, not overly fantastical in their nature. They look much like the common Au Ra's scales, but would extend longer in places, wrapping around her arms or legs. They highlight her form, even though they are a deep black with specs of ink blue.Her lethality is subtle. Sharpened nails to a point, spikes upon her tail. Walking with a practiced grace, silent footsteps that never announce her arrival - unless she wants to be heard. Subterfuge is her speciality, and she would hold herself with a certain air of superiority.

Miahka can be cold, hurtful, and a bit of a b*tch. She is not unfeeling, just unwilling. She can be egotistical, and thinks only for her own betterment, no one else. As long as she succeeds in her plans, she cares not for those around her. She can be difficult to get to know; two faced, untrustworthy at times, her motives hidden.Her eyes a hard stare, her lips curl into a soft sneer. She thinks very highly of herself, and very lowly of others. To impress her is something you don't realise you're trying to do.(Please note Miahka's personality and ways are not a reflection of my own! OOC and IC are separate.)

- Apothecary - Miahka spends most of her time working out of Ishgard in her Apothecary. Here she sells her wears, from potions to powders and trinkets galore. Her work is an art form. She takes pride in her abilities and the things she can craft for those around her. She also takes pride in her discretion - but if you need anything of either nature, she will supply!- Secrets and Shadows - Many a high-rung person uses Miahka's shops for a lot of needs; some however, have more discreet matters they wish to be dealt with. Miahka is happy to help - with the promise of secrecy; but with that promise hands the open threat that she now knows. And everyone's secret has a price.- Of the Steppe - Miahka can be, sometimes, unwelcoming to certain Tribes of the Steppe. She holds a lot of stubbornness about their homelands... but it doesn't mean she's entirely unwilling to try and befriend more of her kin. Living up in Ishgard, they seem rarer by the day.

- Magic and Spellcraft - As with her Apothecary, Miahka fills her life with magic and spells. She is not afraid of magic, and as such is more than willing to experiment in fields more frowned upon; in secret, of course. She travels far and wide in search for more unknown spellcraft and alternative means to harness magic. If your character also has a keen interest, perhaps Miahka has heard of them and may seek them out?- A Woman of Trade - Miahka makes many deals with trading exports and delivery services; perhaps she needs something delivered, she will pay handsomely for it! If it cannot be delivered, she may go out and fetch it herself - not without hired help, however. Mercenaries and adventurers come in abundance, and if you're one of them, maybe you can help.- Ishgardian Secrets - If your character lived and lingered in Ishgard for long enough surely heard of the mysterious Xaela that swept into town a few years ago; managing to get a ring on her finger from a lower Baron; and as such, get her teeth sunk into the Noble community. A faint whisper, this tale, but they still look upon the "dragon-kin" less than fondly.

Miahka is not supposed to be a good character. She lies, she cheats, and she hurts people for her own gain. This is not a reflection of my OOC self! She is antagonistic, a bit of a c*nt with a big ego and superiority complex. She's also complex, and deeper than all these things.Miahka would never lure someone into a false monogamous relationship, she is open about her polyamorous nature, and her infidelity (see below). That being said, she isn’t going to just date anyone for any reason so please don’t approach me if that is just your sole intention. RP relationships are nice, sure, but I like more substance and character building first.This character deals with issues of infidelity, and over all a lack of loyalty towards anyone but herself. Refrain from your character engaging in flirty/romantic behaviours if that would make you or your character uncomfortable. Her husband is purely NPC for the sake of not hurting another player with these themes, as well. I would never want to do that to another player! Again, these themes do not reflect my OOC views.
